vernment recognition should be given ta successful
educational institutions which have been working on
experimental lines advocated by this conference (such
as the Indian Women's University and others ) and
which desire such recognition. '

“ આ સ્ત્રીપરિષદ સરકારને ભલામણ કરે છે કે આ પિરષદે જે ધારણ
સ્વીકાર્યું છે તે સંબંધી પ્રયાગ કરવાની યશસ્વી શિક્ષણસંસ્થાઓને (દાખલા
તરીકે ભારતવર્ષીય મહિલા વિદ્યાપી તે બીજી જે સંસ્થાએ હાય તે)
તેમની ઇચ્છા હાય તે સરકારી માન્યતા આપવી.
ગયા ફેબ્રુઆરીમાં દિલ્હીમાં ભરાયેલી સ્ત્રીઓની શૈક્ષણિક પરિષદે આ
એ હરાવાને ફરીથી માન્ય કર્યા છે.
મુંબઇ ઇલાકાના વિદ્યાખાતાનેા ૧૯૨૫-૨૬ ની સાલને રિપોર્ટ થાડા
મહિના પૂર્વ પ્રસિદ્ધ થયા છે. તેમાં આ વિદ્યાપી માટે નીચે પ્રમાણે ઉલ્લેખ છે.
“ A number of schools throughout the presidency
are affiliated to the Poona WVomen's University. Some
of these are recognized by the Department. A special
feature of these schools is that they use the Verna-
cular as the medium of instruction for all subjects
except English throughout the school course,'"
“ ઇલાકામાં ઘણી શાળાએ પુનાની સ્ત્રીઓની યુનિવર્સિટી સાથે
જોડાયેલી છે. તેમાંની કેટલીક વિદ્યાખાતામાં નેધાએલી છે. આ શાળાઓનું
એક ખાસ લક્ષણ એ છે કે તેમાં છેલ્લાં ધારણ સુધી અંગ્રેજી શિવાયના બીજા
બધા વિષયે માતૃભાષામાં શીખવવામાં આવે છે.
