- "ભૂખ અને દુ:ખ આગળ સૌ દેહ સમાન છે. લેહીમાં ન્યાતજાત નથી. એ તો માનવીમાત્રના શરીરમાં એક જ રંગનું વહે છે. આંસુમાં પણ ન્યાતજાત નથી. સઘળા(ની આંખ)માંથી એ સરખાં જ ખારાં ટપકે છે. માણસ કપાળ ઉપર તિલકની છાપ લઈને અથવા ગળામાં જનોઈ પહેરીને અવતરતો નથી. જે સત્કર્મ કરે છે તે ઊંચ ( દિજ) છે; જે દુષ્કર્મ કરે છે તે નીચ છે."
