સર૦– બુદ્ધ ભગવાનનો પ્રકાશ આ વાડીમાંથી ધીરે ધીરે બ્હાર
આકર્ષાય છે, ને આપણા પ્રદેશની નીચે પિતામહના મન્દિરના શિખરના
સુવર્ણકલશ છે તેમાંથી કોઈ નવા પવન ને નવા પ્રકાશ આ શ્વેતપ્રકાશમાં
થઈને છત ઉપર ચ્હડે છે. ઉપર જે દેખીએ છીએ તે આ બે પ્રકાશનું
મિશ્રણ છે. આ નવા પ્રકાશના વેગથી આ શ્વેત પ્રકાશ મિશ્રરૂપે કેટલોક ઉપર
ચ્હડે છે ને બાકીનો ચારે પાસ ઢોળાઈ જાય છે.
કુમુદ૦– આ આપણી પાસેના રત્નરાશિમાં પણ અનેક પ્રતિબિમ્બ દેખાય છે.
કુમુદ૦- એ રાશિમાંથી પોતાના બે હાથ ભરી રત્ન લીધાં અને અંજલિમાં ઝાલી રાખી તેમાં ને ઊપરની છતમાં વારાફરતી જોવા લાગી.
સર૦– કુમુદ, એમાં જોજે ને જોતી જોતી ક્હેજે. આજ યુરોપમાં જેવાં સંવનન અને પ્રીતિલગ્ન રચાય છે તેવાં જ આ આશપાશના આપણા દેશમાં થતાં નથી? ઉપર જે જ્ઞાતિયોના અનેક સ્તમ્ભ ને ચીર જણાતા હતા તેને સ્થાને અંહી ચારેપાસ માત્ર એક જ પૃથ્વી જણાતી નથી? ત્યાગ, ઉદારતા, સાધુતા, દયા આદિ રંગની જ વૃષ્ટિ આ એકાકાર થયલી ધર્મભૂમિમાં થતી નથી? એ વૃષ્ટિનાં કલ્યાણફળથી લોક સમૃદ્ધ, તેજસ્વી વીર્યવાન્ ને યશસ્વી થતા નથી ?[૧] કુમુદ, સૂક્ષ્મદૃષ્ટિથી રત્નાંજલિ જોઈ લે અને ત્હારા પ્રેમાળ હૃદયના ઉદ્ગારથી વર્ણવ.
